xxxxxLucian Darke (probably not his birth name) is -very- slowly starting to make a slight name for himself in the local art scene. His paintings often deal with the darkness just beneath everyday life, and the search for the beautiful amid the grotesque. As such, they often tend toward the macabre and/or erotic: think Luis Royo on a bad acid trip. Which if nothing else makes them at least potentially commercial. When not working on his latest piece, Lucian is usually wandering town in search of inspiration, often defaulting to hedonism and dissipation if nothing else will work. Those a little more in the know about the occult side of life may well have seen him attend the occasional Satanic Mass or lecture on Hermeticism, usually deeply interested but keeping to himself.
