“The grace of the Supernal does not supersede the grace of God. Find your place within the Lord's will, whether or not you accept Him as a part of your paradigm.”

– Provost Crux

xxxxxCrux is a good girl - at least, as far as most people can consider anyone of the Guardians of the Veil to be "good". She votes every time there is a vote (even if she has to take off of work early), she pays her taxes on time, she even goes home to make her organic, free-range roast chicken and gluten-free dinner sides (and invite people over) and brings home-made fruit snacks and other such health food snacks to church every Sunday along with her 10% tithe. She even performs at least 10 hours of community service every month, more if her schedule will allow it.

xxxxxAll in contrast to her true work. As an Obirmos of the Guardians of the Veil, she knows the role that God has placed her in and she knows she has a high penance to pay for what she must do. She does everything she can to lower her impact on the rest of society, to help out where she can, to be a good citizen and a better role model because maybe if she does so, then she'll stand a better of chance of getting through the Gates when God calls her home. While yes, she is doing God's work, she feels, sometimes, as if she is damning her own soul in the process - a martyrdom she willingly embraces.

  • Goal #1 - Guide the Consilium and its members onto a righteous path so that they do the Right Thing.
  • Goal #2 - Do God's work on Earth, for better or worse, regardless of the personal consequences.
  • Goal #3

LeAnn Rimes - Amazing Grace

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.
