Free Stuff

  • All mages receive a free dot of Status in their Order and the Consilium (unless the character is an Apostate, in which case, they don't have an Order).
    • This is set using the following syntax: sheet/set <name>/merit=Status:#/<Path>
  • All mages receive a free dot of either Resolve or Composure depending on their Path.
    • Acanthus: Composure
    • Mastigos: Resolve
    • Moros: Composure
    • Obrimos: Resolve
    • Thyrsus: Composure
  • All mages who belong to an Order receive three free Rote specialties in certain Skills.
    • Adamantine Arrows: Athletics, Intimidation, Medicine
    • Free Council: Crafts, Persuasion, Science
    • Guardians of the Veil: Investigation, Stealth, Subterfuge
    • Mysterium: Investigation, Occult, Survival
    • Silver Ladder: Expression, Persuasion, Subterfuge
  • All mages who belong to an Order receive six free dots of Rote spells. These spells should be listed with their appropriate roll and book reference.
    • This is set using the following syntax: sheet/set <name>/rote=Spell Name:#/Attribute + Skill + Arcana BOOK ###
  • All mages who belong to an Order receive the merit High Speech for free.
    • This is set with the following syntax: sheet/set <name>/merit=High Speech:1

Other Notes

  • All mages need to have a +note describing their Nimbus.
  • If a mage has a Legacy, then they need to have a +note which details their Attainment power(s).
  • The Sanctum merit comes in two flavors: Sanctum Security and Sanctum Size. If a mage has a Sanctum on their +sheet, please make sure that the dots are allocated into one (or more) of those two categories. Sanctums should correspond to either a build already on the grid or a +note on the character.
    • If the Sanctum is already on the grid, use the following syntax: sheet/set <name>/merit=Sanctum Size:1/Sanctum Name - F01
    • If the Sanctum is not on the grid, use the following syntax: sheet/set <name>/merit=Sanctum Size:1/Sanctum Name - see +note
      • The corresponding Sanctum +note should look like the example provided below:
==================> Wendigo's +Notes - Sanctum <==================

Name: Nondescript Cabin
Grid Cord: FC07
Description: This is a cabin. Ooo.

Sanctum Merits:
Sanctum Size: 1
Sanctum Security: 1

  Unlocked and Not Approved
==================================================================
  • Once a character has been approved, please review the +faction information for Mage, their Path, and their Order and set their rank equal to their Status in each category.
    • This is set using the following syntax: +faction/rank <name>=<faction>/#
      • PLEASE NOTE that the Mage +faction has a special format for Title!
      • This is set using the following syntax: +faction/title <name>=Mage/(Shadowname) Path - Order
