Overview

xxxxxA transplant from suburban Connecticut, Stefani moved to Fallcoast with her grandmother in 2013 after being accepted into St. John's MA linguistics program. She was a graduate assistant up until a few months ago, becoming a professor upon her graduation earlier in 2017.

  • Students, professors, and other St. Johns staff know her as the quiet-but-focused recently hired language professor. Stefani teaches Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian classes of varying skill levels at the university. Professor Morales seems gifted with patience and the remarkable ability to break language minutiae down so it's easily understood. According to the syllabus she gives her classes, Stef used to be a special education teacher at the middle school level.
  • Stefani is a routine swimmer. She is seen taking laps in St. John's gym at the same time every night.
  • In her childhood, Stefani was diagnosed with Asperger's and ADHD. Executive dysfunction is always a struggle, especially in academia. To cope, Stef networks with similar folks online, and occasionally visits various support groups in person. If your character is atypical, there's a chance the two may have connected at some point.
  • She is a trans woman. Stefani transitioned in her late twenties, but mostly views her gender identity and bisexuality as a private matter. Despite discretion, Stefani is quietly involved in Fallcoast's LGBTQ community, volunteering for related causes whenever she has the time.
  • Do you like designer board games? How about 1980s pop music? She has an extensive knowledge about both.
