<SJU Radio> Sarah says, "Helloooooo, Fallcoast and welcome to SASS. It's been a hell of a week but we're still here to entertain, inform, gossip and generally try to be as apolitical as we can. Try at least. With me as always is my lovely co-host, Shyla. To start us off, here is an ode to being a woman at college. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LzWUAkpNrQ "

<SJU Radio> Ditzy DJ Shyla is giggling a bit more than usual, almost as if she was up to something before going on air, "... and HELLO FALLCOAST!" she almost shouts, "And that was "Guys My Age" by Hey Violet, the best autotune I've heard in a while!" Another fit of giggles, then "Oh stop giving me that look, Sarah, it's true, there's a lot of autotune, but that doesn't mean it's not a good song, I like it, so that makes it a GREAT song. But let's not ramp things up so quick, I was watching the end of "Nikita" on Netflix the other day and this song came on, so I Shazam'd it and ... well, here have a listen." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QP5qHCe9FP4

<SJU Radio> Sarah says, "That was Thirty Seconds To Mars and 'Bright Lights'. So is that Jared Leto's day job now? And everyone uses autotune these days. It lets anyone sing a song...whether they have any talent or not. So how have you been, Fallcoast? I missed last week's show - had some exams - so I apologise for that. So I will have to make it up to you all by playing some awesome tunes...and some tunes that I like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtAmFKaThNE

<SJU Radio> Ditzy DJ Shyla taptaptaps on the table, then she pops on, "Rob Dougan. With "Furious Angels", a song that sounds pretty epic. Perfect for a montage in a dramatic action film, don't you agree Fallcoast? Hey, if Fallcoast can be turned into a person who embodies the city, how would he or she look like? Or their personality?" There's a pause, then she continues, oddly serious for a moment, "I would guess some crazy homeless dude that thinks the world is after him... or IS he crazy? Hmmm?" Another pause, then she says, much chipper, "And here in theme with angels, angry or otherwise." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTzGMEfbnAw

<SJU Radio> Sarah says, "That was Juice Newton and 'Angel of the Morning'. That was some pretty old school shit there, Shyla. Hey, you know what we should do one day...which is sort of what you just did...but we could play a song and then the next one could have a word from the first one's title in it and so on and so forth. And if anyone in Fallcoast has a suggestion on Shyla's question, then give us a call, a text, a tweet, a carrier pigeon and get involved. Keeping it old school https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVikZ8Oe_XA

<SJU Radio> Ditzy DJ Shyla 's voice is a bit lower and softer this time, hopefully she just calmed down a bit from before! "Definitely old school with "Rock me Amadeus" by Falco. Even *I* know this song, and I'm not 100 years old!." a soft chuckle, she continues, "I guess we could do that sometime, Sarah, but I'm not sure I'm as quick as you are on that front, you're the one with... gosh, 10s of thousands of songs! I just search out desperately online for something, anything!" Then a whisper, "... that's a secret behind the scene moment for all of you fans out there.. shhhhhhh." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJWk_KNbDHo

<SJU Radio> Sarah says, "That was The Lumineers with 'Stubborn Love'. I didn't know they even did another song than that 'Hey Ho' one. Though if we do play that game, Shyla, I think even you could find another song to follow that one with 'love' in the title." A little giggle before Sarah continues. "And now, in honor of the recent passing of a famous singer, I'll play their best known song. No, I'm not talking about Leonard Cohen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGNiXGX2nLU

<SJU Radio> Ditzy DJ Shyla clears her throat, "That was "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) by... oh gosh, Dead or Alive. That name, in hindsight, is pretty unfortunate. And don't give me credit, as little as it is, about being able to play a song with 'love' in it, I can imagine myself even messing THAT up. Hey, you know that on Freeform channel, which used to be ABC Family... don't judge! well anyway, I was watching that for no real good reason, and they kept on playing animated movies. You know what? I find that I consistently like them much more than normal movies, who woulda thought, right? Like, there was Wall-E, and Finding Nemo, How to Train Your Dragon, and... other stuff! Oh where was I? Oh, songs, I gotta play one!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzerbXFwGCE

<SJU Radio> Sarah says, "That was 'Breathless' by the Corrs. That would be hard finding a follow-up song to unles it was also called 'Breathless'. Nothing wrong with animated movies. Though we are in college so should probably be into French films about the existential dilemma of life itself. Can life be existential? So what's your favorite animated movie, Shyla? I could go for 'South Park'. Kidding! Speaking of bands that have been quiet for a while, here's a new one from an old one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHdylh210Ho

<SJU Radio> Ditzy DJ Shyla is even slower to respond this time around, "Errr.. Enigma! With "Sadeness", yes you heard right, "SADE-Ness" not "Sadness", tricky I know. And I would totally fail right here and now if we played that game. I really don't think there's a song out there with that word in it! Hey, I've also went shopping, Sarah, which was kinda sad, you know, because I wanted to go with you, we always have so much fun! But you and your darn responsibilities. You know that store White House Black Market? Well, I got some great outfits, remind me to show them to you later!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9LCHgpzfxQ

<SJU Radio> Sarah says, "That was 'This Is What Rock Sounds Like' by...by...umm...looks like the label has fallen off. Who was that by, Shyla? It was pretty cool. Not sure it was rock though. I look forward to seeing the outfits though not sure about the store...oh...yeah...I know it. Cool. We really need to shop more except you need that money stuff, right? Here's some more rock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpJAmlnBxoA

<SJU Radio> Ditzy DJ Shyla hmms, "That was Porcelain Black, Sarah, and see what I did there? Black and White, and she has black and white hair!" A pause, as if expecting some sort of applause for her cleverness, "At any rate, YOUR song is by Halestorm playing "I Miss the Misery", which is something I can't ever say. Don't want to be miserable, ever. I mean, it happens, but I certainly wouldn't miss it! Oh here, have a cover." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxdwEOpGknk

<SJU Radio> Sarah says, "That was Emily Browning and 'Sweet Dreams' from the Sucker Punch soundtrack. That was such a strange film for me. So depressing. But maybe I look too deep into it. Do you like going deep, Shyla? Time for some mindless fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYpYi9bLloE

<SJU Radio> Ditzy DJ Shyla says, "That... was.. "Boys"! Yes, boys, we all love boys.. except when we don't. By Sabrina. And her boobs. And, yes, Sarah, of course I like going in deep... into a subject! And yes, that movie was very depressing, that much is very clear, there was no subtlety about it so no, you didn't go in too deep, dear." She giggles and then there's an odd sucking in of her breath, "Aaaaaand we have another song from one of our favorite singers, right?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nv644ipg2Ss

<SJU Radio> Sarah says, "That was indeed one of our favorite. Robyn with 'Tell Your Girlfriend'. She's a lot of fun. Hey, did you tell me which was your favorite animated movie? I don't think you did, young lady. Looks like we've almost come to the end of our allotted time but here's one from our days back in Washington State. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mGBaXPlri8

<SJU Radio> Sarah says, "That was 'All About Us' by t.A.t.U. Remember them, Fallcoast? 'Why are you talking again, Sarah?' I hear you say. 'What happened to your hot co-host?' Well she is indisposed so it is up to me to close the show for another week. Thanks for joining us and I hope you had fun. And if not...then what's wrong with you? Goodnight, Fallcoast! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HhR7zKgRSs
