“Alone. Yes, that's the key word, the most awful word in the English tongue. Murder doesn't hold a candle to it and hell is only a poor synonym.”

HUNGER IS INSOLENT,
| When you think vampire, there are many images that come to mind. The ugly antagonist of the film Nosferatu, the romanticized modern vampire, pretty and in love. Liam, a veteran of the age of the mobster in Chicago, of the second great World War, and as a Hound to a Prince, was all these things. Now he's just a bitter cynic, having came to Fallcoast to drink himself to death.
And others, of course.
AND WILL BE FED.
Liam is a posterboy of the classic vampire and film noir, restyled to fit the modern setting of Fallcoast. The author is interested in acting as a supporting but important castmember in anyone's life, a friend or nemesis. The author's particularly interested in our vampire serving as a cynical teacher, lover, or best friend to someone(s) more idealistic and heroic in nature than Liam himself is, who could save him from himself or be dragged right down with him.
