Communications and recording gear: A cop car's communications gear starts with a police-band radio. Dashboard video camera that automatically activating whenever the vehicle's lights or siren are running and recording their data on a digital recorder in the trunk. A laptop computer that use a wireless network and enable officers to check a suspect's identification and criminal record, run a vehicle's license plate and exchange text messages. It also allow officers to send or receive digital photographs to help identify a missing child or fleeing vehicle.

Prisoner transport features: A thick polycarbonate shield (Durability 3, Size 4, Structure 7) separates the front and rear seats, keeping prisoners from attacking the driver or front-seat passenger. The inside handles of the rear doors and the controls for the rear windows are removed to prevent egress. Upholstery is vinyl and plastic for easy cleanup.

The Bell 429 Helo is intended for a multi-variable mission set. From SWAT, SAR, assisting AFD, to standard Air Patrol. It may not mount weapons (But it become a can of whoop-ass filled with cops).

Standard features of the Bearcat include onboard computer and GPS, bullet-proof glass, , military winch, runflat tires (each blown tire only imposes a -1 penalty to Drive rolls and a 10% speed penalty), and police cruiser type search lights. It is equipped with air conditioning and internal oxygen supply (the Bearcat can quickly be rigged to operate as air-tight), an overcharged engine, and enough juice from a mini-generator to power all of the features and any add-ons.

The Bearcat package also comes with a “popup” .50 caliber machine gun. To operate, the gunner seats himself in the gunner chair, pushes a button, the roof of the vehicle slides open and the .50 cal is elevated via hydraulic lift to a height even with the top of the URV. The machine gun uses both a swivel mount and pedals to achieve an 360 degree field of fire, which requires additional training (any gunner that fires the .50 cal, or replacement weapons, without a Heavy Weapons specialty for Firearms suffers the untrained penalty). The .50 cal comes with a casing catcher as standard.

Armory & Quartermaster

The County of Fallcoast is served by the Fallcoast Police Department. The FPD provides law enforcement service to the entire county, with the exception of the Passamaquoddy Reservation but are often found assisting the Reservation police department. The Fallcoast Police Departments Harbor Division not only polices the Fallcoast Harbor but also 2500 square miles of coastline, contracted by the United States Coast Guard.

The Fallcoast Police Department is equipped with weapons, gear, and transportation to aid in their continued protection of Fallcoast. Below the standard issue gear can be found for each division. For requesting gear please send an equipment request after you have been approved by Law staff to be a member of the appropriate division.

Patrol Division

Uniforms

The FPD uniform is black, consisting of black trousers and a black uniform shirt. Rank is worn at the shoulder in patch form, and at the collar in pin form. A police hat, referred to as a 'cover', is a part of the standard patrol and dress uniforms. It also bears rank insignia. The uniform does have warm and cold weather variants. Short sleeves or a parka, really, being the common augmentations. A uniform may consist of more than these items, but not less.

SWAT have the option of black combat pants - looser, more pockets and knee pads built in. Likewise, a black combat shirt is allowed - more pockets, elbow padding.
