“If I can't make the world a better place, I at least want a syndrome named after me.” – Jesse Ritter-Byrne
Jesse is an upstanding citizen whose shady past is best left where it belongs: in the past. All anyone needs to know is he's a family man and an altruist. He came to Fallcoast to take a job as a social worker attached to the court of appeals. Then he continued his (totally legitimate) education to get licensed as a clinical therapist.
Recently, Jesse Ritter-Byrne was in the news for a trumped up murder charge. The real culprit was found (a stalker who framed Jesse out of some weird sense of obsession) and Jesse was set free. Unfortunately, the stigma soured his job at the clinic he worked at, where the murder took place, and he ended up resigning.
Now he's the head of the Radion Heart Medical Clinic. Management may not have been his life's dream, but he's still helping people, in a way. And he gets to tell people what to do. Win-win.
Oh, and he's over 160 years old and doesn't look a day past 25.
