xxxxxJen grew up locally on the outskirts of town but her family was not well known. She lived with her grandparents since she was four years old and doesn't remember much about her parents; her dad had left her mom when she was three, and her mom got hooked on drugs and stopped coming home shortly after.

xxxxx A quiet, studious girl, Jen was invisible for most of her formative years, but for whatever reason it doesn't seem to have bothered her much. She attended Sacred Heart school and graduated with mediocre grades. It wasn't that she wasn't interested in learning, but she was more interested in her research. She didn't take part in sports, and didn't attend any of the dances or events; Jennifer was truly a wallflower to the end.

xxxxx It was her grandmother who introduced her to genealogy. The two of them would go to the Mormon church and do research for hours a day trying to find an old newspaper article or birth record that would help them unravel the family mysteries. People might jokingly have referred to her as Nancy Drew, but that is how it felt and she had to admit she genuinely enjoyed it! Once many of their family secrets were mapped and their lineage traced all the way back to the mid-1400s, she decided to try and see if she couldn't help other local families sort theirs out. She never really considered doing anything else once she was steeped in it.

xxxxxHer grandmother and grandfather are fairly young, and both alive and healthy. They live in a farmhouse in a quiet pocket community on the edge of Fallcoast. She has no idea where her parents are. After a while, they simply weren't spoken of.

  • Psychometry, Postcog
It's not really something she advertises, but if it's relevant to the conversation, she'll bring it up.
  • Local Historian and Genealogist
Jennifer developed a small library of books on local family history. A few were purchased and a few given, and she is very proud of them. These books are very private bits of people's lives. Family histories that were scratched into bibles, put into print, along with stories about their lives, misdeeds and their accomplishments. It is very easy for her to get excited about it all. Just ask!
About them.
About them.
About them.

Always on the go.

Neurosis - A Sun That Never Sets

The blood that flows through me is not my own.
The blood is from the past, not my own.
The blood that leads my life is not my own.
The blood is strength, I'm not alone.
