“But I'll tell you what hermits realize. If you go off into a far, far forest and get very quiet, you'll come to understand that you're connected with everything.”

– Alan Watts

Overview

xxxxxA lifelong resident of the Fallcoast Area, the enormous man known as Hermit was born with the name Michael Dunne, though not many who knew that name would recognize him now. He is an ascetic recluse who lives in the middle of nowhere in what, from the outside, resembles a hobbit hole more than a home. In recent years, he has begun selling beautiful sculptures of stone, clay, and sometimes recycled scrap metal.

RP Hooks
  • Feral: Yup, he's every bit the bear he seems to be.
  • Sculpture: Hermit is a very talented sculptor, who recently began selling his creations in the area.
  • Environment: He's rather protective of the Crow Hollow Woods, especially near his home.
  • Architecture: Some may remember him as having been a rather well-known architect in the area, specializing in homes fitting into their natural surroundings.
  • Alumni: Hermit is a graduate of both Fallcoast High School (1994) and St. John's University (1998).
  • Sports: In high school, he was a state medalist in both wrestling and track, throwing both shotput and discus. He threw for SJU on a partial scholarship, and continued wrestling as an amateur, even coming one win away from making the U.S. Olympic team in 1996.
  • Beard: Hey...it's pretty epic.

Lesser Known

  • Hermit is 75% Irish and 25% Native American.
  • Before he became a recluse, his home was featured on a television show about unique houses. It was dubbed "The Den".
