| Status (University):
🔎 Sin-Eater: His death came in a horridly random way, and it made him realize the shortness of life. While he is still a hard worker, he is a Celebrant. This means that he is a hedonist. Sex, drinking, etcetera. He also loves working out to the point of exhaustion to make himself feel alive.
🔎 Abernathy: While he does not come off as overtly creepy, he does teach dead history, and he is close friends with the ghost of the man who kind of killed him. So...different strokes?
🔎 Academia: A known genius and master of his field. Multiple degrees. He currently teaches a wealth of Archaeology classes at the college.
🔎 Travel: He has used the various digs he has been on to see the world and experience things. He most recently returned from Gozo, an island in the Mediterranean, where he spent six months helping uncover an ancient brothel/temple. Times were different, then.
🔎 Multi-Lingual: He speaks English, French, Italian, Latin, Russian, Nahuatl, Portuguese, Spanish and Arabic!
🔎 Genius: No, really. He graduated High School at 16, and by 30 he had multiple PhDs, Masters degrees, etc. And the only reason he didn't graduate school earlier then 16 is because his school struggled to 'normalize' him.
🔎 Single: Want to date a genius archaeologist who might also be bound to a terrifying beast of death, and who sometimes talks to himself? Sure, he's cute and in good shape and whatnot, but there has to be a reason the guy is single at his age, right?
🔎 Ghost Buddy: He is often around 'Chuck', a somewhat nervous and manic ghost. When Chuck isn't around Arthur, he is likely secure in his Anchor, or back at Arthur's house, guarding it. Rumor has it he is the ghost of the man who kind of caused Arthur's death. The two seem to get on well, though!

“It's only in drugs or death we'll see anything new, and death is just too controlling.” - Chuck Palahniuk
Arthur was born and raised right here in Fallcoast. The son of two professor's at the University, much was expected of him growing up. Thankfully, he was able to deliver most of it. He was shy and awkward, but an utter genius. The kid ignored most social connections, and instead focused on school. He graduated High School way early, and left for Yale When he returned he was a field-trained doctor of Archaeology and began teaching at the Uni.
He only taught for about a year as a strange, awkward genius. Then he was struck by lightning while being mugged, and he changed. He became sociable, flirtatious. He left town more often for digs, and seems like almost a totally different person. He returned to town again in late July of 2016, and is once again teaching at the Uni.
“The government are tightening up on ID for sales of tobacco and alcohol,
so I recommend that young people take more drugs.” - Robert Clark
What Is She?
Shadow. Shadow, with the sound of grinding sandstone. The basic idea of a female form, with piercing white beacons for eyes. Now and again when the light hits just right, gore of the most horrifying sound can be seen. Sometimes there are the sounds of bees. Sometimes sobbing. So much sobbing. There is always, always the faint sound of jingling bells. Instead of words, Ms. Jingles goads Arthur's actions with the intense pressure of psychic headaches. The more he displeases her, the worse they feel. The happier she is, the more they vanish.
What Does She Represent?
Ms. Jingles represents being forgotten in death. People who's deaths go unnoticed and uncared for. She is the Geist of unmarked graves and stabbed hobos. Of teen runaways murdered hundreds of miles from home and never discovered. She is death without those who feel remorse. If somebody dies, and it is either not discovered, or nobody really cares when that person goes...Ms. Jingles is happy. Or, as happy as a thing like 'her' can be.
