“Our treasure lies in the beehive of our knowledge. We are perpetually on the way thither, being by nature winged insects and honey gatherers of the mind.”

– Friedrich Nietzsche

“The most dangerous ideas are not those that challenge the status quo. The most dangerous ideas are those so embedded in the status quo, so wrapped in a cloud of inevitability, that we forget they are ideas at all..”

– Jacob M. Appel

RP Hooks
  • Fame In Small Circles - Alex is known in the right circles as a devoted eco-activist and lobbyist. She worked for several years at a firm in New York City but quit abruptly to come to Fallcoast. No one knows why... Unless you want to dig for answers. (Fame 1)
  • Insects Support Our Ecosystems - Alex is a research scientist and ecologist who specialises in Ecology and, tangentially, Entomology - her true passion. Her official focus in school was "Restoration Ecology and Conservation Biology".
  • Our Bodies Are Our Temples - Your appearance should reflect your sense of self and if the body is a temple it should reflect what you hold to be holy. Every one of Alex's tattoos has a meaning.
  • Opinions Only Matter if You Make Them Heard - Part-time Lobbyist, civil rights and eco activist, very opinionated. If Alex were better at self expression she'd probably have a blog.
  • Hair Colour - Yes, you remember correctly. She was a blonde last week.
  • Professor - Alex is currently teaching Biology from starting to graduate level and then Entomology classes for the truly discerning. She is a recent hire but somewhat esteemed as she's lectured previously.

The Worlds Supernal

  • In the Watchtower's Shade - Alexandria is a Mage, an Acanthus of the Adamantine Arrow. She is as militant as her Order suggests.
  • The Legacy of the Daoine - Alex is a Daoine, a tradition of fate weaving mystics who use their power to punish the wicked and reward the righteous. All according to a series of arcane and frequently unknowable laws framed after the ancient Sidhe. Do not offend the Good Folk lest all your good fortune turn ill... And stay out of Alex's way.
  • Nature Is Magic - Lastly, the Daoine has a strong affinity for Nature, utilising much of her magic in pursuit of her own brand of justice for the natural world. Of course, all such things are up to Alex's interpretation. The spiders aren't telling her who should pay.
  • Keira - We're doing the right thing. Together. No matter what it means for us.
  • Leah - What am I supposed to do now...? I thought I'd finally figured it out. Another way for the world to remind me that existence is war.
  • Vanessa - Soon we will see battle together. Hopefully we both leave with our faces intact. To do otherwise would be rude.
  • Korbin - Unusual does not necessarily mean bad. A peculiar introduction to the Consilium. At least thus far his little missions are never dull.
  • Edmund - Destiny is the path on which your soul will travel. Future is the expression of that Destiny in reality.
  • Chiara - A pure heart is something you can't hide behind a mask. Remember this: You are I and I am you.
  • Sage - A one man stampede. Literally. Remind me never to stand in your way.
  • Ritter - The most interesting person I've had occasion to meet in Fallcoast so far. Who knows what I will learn from him?
  • Jeanine - One word for this one: Infuriating.
  • Guy - Terribly naive. I hope the world treats him well.

Wake Up Exhausted Akaline Trio

I hated this city before you came here,
So let go and move on.
We're strangers and we're not friends.
I hate this and I hate them.

Smoke and Mirrors Poets of the Fall

Do we even know who we are?
Living like all life is forfeit.
Like we can just go redefine it,
Regardless of what we broke.

Which to Bury, Us or the Hatchet? Relient K

No, I don't hate you.
Don't want to fight you,
You know I'll always love you,
But right now I just don't like you.

They Spoke With Their Hands Echo's Children

But bird song's a thing
No one else understands
In a village where everyone
Speaks with their hands.
