A child of the early 1990s, Abel Daywood was known in grade school and high school to be a member of the Abernathy family - his mother was one and the apple didn't fall far from the tree. He was a strange kid growing up, talking nonsense about being haunted. He was bullied for it, as he was clearly something different from the mainstream kids with his sombre attire, quiet manner, lack of interest in normal things, and his obsession with death and the occult. He remained soft-spoken and oddly self-confident despite his reviled social status.
After high school, his parents died and he purchased an undeveloped piece of land outside of town. He lived there for a while and started trading in furs of the small animals he caught on his acreage. He subsisted off the land and leaved in a meagre shack until one day, a few years ago, he left town abruptly. What little he left rotted on his land. He returned recently, and has started clearing the land, setting up a farm on the outskirts of town...
